Young Women's Trust collect charity donations via Direct Debit

"I am very happy with the system as it is very easy to use, and it makes the admin side of payments much easier,"

Janet Redman, Director of Finance and Resources

Young Women’s Trust: The Company

Young Women’s Trust supports women aged 16-30 at risk of poverty in England and Wales. They’re there to create a more equal world of work and raise young women’s incomes. They tackle sexism and misogyny, with and for anyone who has experienced this.

As a Charity, they have a critical reliance on Direct Debits to process donations and fund their operation.

AccessPay: Young Women’s Trust all in one solution

Young Women’s Trust sought an ‘all in one’ solution with the capability of managing their Direct Debit and BACS Reporting process as well as processing Payroll and Accounts Payable submissions.

Moving to the cloud would enable the Finance and Membership team to operate securely from any location. However, the chosen solution needed to integrate seamlessly with their IRIS Exchequer and Raiser’s Edge back-office systems.

“It is essential that I can submit from home if someone needs to be paid urgently.”

After receiving a quote that was much more expensive than what the Charity required, Director of Finance and Resources Janet Redman researched on the internet for a suitable replacement.

The AccessPay cloud solution came pre-configured to accept the files from the YWT back-office systems for a smooth onboarding process. Moving to the cloud meant that staff could access the system anywhere, anytime, even when working from home.
