AccessPay launches product feedback portal – inspired by LEGO

Hundreds of customers are set to shape the future of AccessPay with our new product feedback portal.

The easy-to-use feature, launched in 2021, invites users to share ideas for new functionality and useful features to further automate their finance function.

The aim is to enhance user-experience of our popular payments and cash management software by gathering feedback from those who know it best – our loyal clients.

How does it work?

Customers can access the portal via a private web link. This will be sent via the Financial Leader newsletter on April 13 or please contact Robart Hughes for access on [email protected].

Once logged, our other corporate customers can vote on how useful they find the idea – allowing the AccessPay community to feed into future development.

Feedback areas include user experience, security and data/reporting and will be picked up by our dedicated product team for consideration.

Popular ideas will be planned into the product roadmap and moved along the timeline from ‘under consideration’ to ‘planned’ and then launched.

Currently there are 11 early-stage suggestions to have your say on ranging from enhanced search functions to a single log-in across payments and cash management.

Why are we doing it?

Senior Product Manager Mike Doherty said:

“At AccessPay, the customer is at the heart of everything we do. Ensuring we have a product that is fit-for-purpose today is important, but ensuring it remains cutting edge and market-leading going forwards is always at the forefront of our minds.”

Previous customer feedback led to many updates in 2020 including a new dashboard, multi-factor authorisation via Duo and the addition of SWIFT gpi to track payments through the banking network.

However, the new portal is a more formalised approach and an open forum to ensure customers stay front and centre of AccessPay’s development as the FinTech continues to grow.

It is also an exciting opportunity to get involved and vote on the best ideas.

Winston Pearson, AccessPay

Senior product manager Winston Pearson explains:

“After taking inspiration from Lego Ideas, we have introduced an ideas page for our customers.

We have developed features based upon product feedback for many years now, but this has previously been through conversations with customers and prospects.  While this yielded some fantastic results the process wasn’t entirely scalable. Now it is easy to access and in one place. What’s more, our product team will provide feedback and update you on which ideas are being progressed, developed and launched.”

As AccessPay is a SaaS business, most community ideas will be developed without additional cost to customers, meaning you get to enjoy the fruits of your labour included in your annual subscription.

Mike added: “This new approach demonstrates that AccessPay are committed to delivering maximum value to our customers.”

AccessPay are renowned for excellent customer service, with an almost flawless Feefo review of 4.9.
